Congratulations Class of 2020!
It has been a privilege and a pleasure to work with you this year. I can't imagine a more special group of kids to finish out my classroom career with and I feel blessed to have gotten the chance to work with and get to know each one of you. As I said at the beginning of the year, "history has something for everyone". I hope that all of you got something out of history class this year that has sparked some passion in you - even if it's not for the history field specifically. In that spirit, I've put together a "Summer Reading and Film List" for those of you who would like to continue your history studies independently or if there was a particular topic that really interested you which you would like to continue learning about. I also provided a link to a Youtube playlist entitled: "Soundtrack to the 20th Century" for you to rock out to and enjoy. I wish you all the very best for the brightest future possible! :) I will miss you, Ms. Hynes P.S. If you want to email me for a letter of recommendation or just to say "hi", I will keep the email address listed below. Get in touch anytime! I'd be glad to hear from you. Contact Ms. Hynes: [email protected] P.P.S. I will be adding the extra credit points by the end of the day, Monday June 10. I just want to clarify for you how this will be handled: Extra credit may only be added to "Homework/Classwork" or "Projects" categories. For those students who have leftover extra credit points after these categories have reached 100%, I will add those points to a separate assignment in the homework category simply titled: "Extra Credit". So if you have a "0" in the extra credit category, don't worry! You still got your extra credit points, you just had them added to your eligible categories and didn't have any leftover. |
